The Fruit Yard
Restaurant · Country Market · BBQ · Deli · Gas · Diesel
The Fruit Yard has been serving Stanislaus County since 1977. We feature a restaurant, fruit market, deli BBQ, bakery and banquet center. We also have 76/Conoco gasoline, CFN Gas and Diesel.
We are home to the Annual Back To Graffiti Classic Car Show and Concert each June. In 2006 we were home to Gradffiti, an event for the current students of Stanislaus County's 17 high schools, ages 17-19. We are located on Highway 132 (7948 Yosemite Blvd. and Geer/Albers intersection), 9 miles east of downtown Modesto, 8 miles north of Turlock and 8 miles south of Oakdale.
Our award winning facility is on 44 acres of fruit orchards. Here you will find a beautiful lake setting for many happy occasions; weddings, anniversaries, meetings and large picnics. Group sizes range from a dozen to over 500. We consider ourselves on the way to everywhere. Yosemite Valley is just miles away and over 2 hours from here.
For the less adventuresome, Fox Grove and fishing on the Tuolumne River is less than a mile away. Heading 10 miles east you will find water sports at Modesto Reservoir and Turlock Lake State Park. 20 miles east is La Grange, the four corners town with the Don Pedro Reservoir nearby and Lake Mclure further east. If not for a big mountain, it would be due east to Yosemite National Park. However, at La Grange one must decide on going north to Highway 120 or Merced's NE Highway (year round) 140 and Yosemite Valley.
The restaurant office will take calls from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Banquet party information should be directed to the Fruit Yard office. If you would like to reserve a table for a dining party, please call the restaurant at: 209-527-0225.
